Bride Most Begrudging--Deeanne Gist

BRIDE was an enjoyable read being well written by the author. I had some pause at the handling of the sexual tension in many of the beginning scenes. They seemed a bit gratuitous, simply placed there because "that's what one does in a romance novel." This being Deeanne's first novel, it is easily forgiven. The reader is not titillated in the scenes as much as thinking, "well that just seems like all they think about."
