Redeeming Love--Francine Rivers Redeeming Love is a wonderful reminder of just how much God truly loves us. I have read this book 6 times and every time I am humbled by the reminder that I am loved by an awesome and wonderful God! Any woman who has ever felt the pain of rejection and usury, will find hope in the message of these pages. I am dropping the rating to an NC-16 rate for those who hurt. There is mature subject matter here but the message is so powerful, I think those who have gone through sexual abuse will benefit from reading this book.

Mark of the Lion--Francine Rivers
three powerful books are a must have in any woman's library. It will challenge you in your walk with Christ to the extent, you will come away knowing, God is not only calling for a change in your life, but is ready to help you. I've read these books yearly and still am struck by their powerful message. Francine Rivers is a master at diving into a woman's heart and introducing her to a God who wants to own that heart. This series is not just for women. Read it!!!

 Thorn in My Heart--Liz Curtiz HiggsThorn in My heart will certainly make you feel as if you do have a thorn in your heart as you follow the path of an unwanted wife and her failures and triumphs. When you see how she trusted God with her heart and life it will challenge you to do the same and hopefully you will come out with the same understanding as Leanna. That ONLY God can fulfill your life, no human...no man can do that. Be of good cheer, this has a pleasing happy ending.

Whence Came a Prince Yet another Liz book that evokes so many emotions. I was glad in some ways to come to the end and see everything come out right but in other ways, I felt for the pain of the Characters. I recommend all three books as well as the follow-up book "Grace in Thine Eyes," they are powerful books so you need to be ready for them. Book 1 is my favorite.

The Atonement Child--Francine Rivers For those who have gone through the pain of an abortion, this book reaches out and drenches the reader with the knowledge that God has a plan to pull them through their tragedy.
If you or someone you know has experienced an abortion, this is a book of hope. Even if you've never been down that road, the hope that floods each page is well worth the read.

The Last Sin Eater-Francine Rivers
This book is a wonderful reminder that many things we knew as children simply are not true and may be standing in our way with our relationship to Christ. Not to worry though, as God is a patient God and will always send help to the contrite heart.

What a wonderful story. I read it to my whole family at Christmas. A wonderful reminder of the simple things that keep us close to God.
