CRM REVIEW:
One topsy-turvy stagecoach ride drives nurse Beth McClellan to the point of breaking. And if that worthless, stinky, drunk man doesn’t get off his behind to help her tend the wounded – well, it’s not going to be pretty. He’s not drunk. He’s not a doctor either – not anymore. Dr. Alex Buchanan deserted the army after living in one too many nightmares. Every time he closes his eyes he hears the screams, sees the blood. Except when Beth is yelling at him, Alex can’t slip into the haze of the past. After he saves her sister’s life, Beth and Alex are pushed into a marriage err… just as business partners, of course. In the meantime, Mandy ends up with her own worthless husband. She’s forced to move away from her family and travels into the capable hands of Belle Tanner, I mean, Harden. :) Another 24 hour read, another 5 star. Connealy twist the Lassoed into Texas Series and Montana Marriage Series into these upcoming stories. Beth and Alex are characters that readers can latch onto immediately. The funny doesn’t stop, nor does the romance, and the suspense might very well keep you reading late into the night– like me.
