Forevermore

By Cathy Marie Hake

202690: Forevermore, Only in Gooding! SeriesForevermore, Only in Gooding! Series
By Cathy Marie Hake / Bethany House

Like a dandelion in the wind, Hope Ladley blows from one farm to the next, helping cook for the field hands during the harvest. Illiterate and often twisting cliches and verses into mind-boggling observations, Hope leaves widower Jakob Stauffer baffled by her unconventional ways. But her sunny disposition and unstinting love make changes of a different kind around the place. His little daughter and the pregnant sister he's shielding from an abusive husband adore Hope, and things are getting accomplished even if Hope's methods are unique.

CRM REVIEW:

She’s like a dandelion. She travels wherever God sends her.

Hope Ladley is… um… interesting. Jakob Stuaffer hires her on because he’s desperate. He needs her to help his very pregnant sister during the harvest time.

He’s quiet, smart, and if’n he’s not the hardest man Hope ever saw, she doesn’t know who is. He’s a good father, too.

something fishy going on. Hope feels like she has stepped into one or several secrets when she walks through the front door. As she works with Jakob to protect his sister and daughter, they’ll discover what a perfect team they make.

But when Hope leaves, will Jakob be able to bring her back?

Cathy Marie Hake writes another winner; destined to charm and keep your eyes glued to the pages until the very end. I liked it better than Fancy Pants.
