SPIRITUAL RATING: 4-5
Explain: Marcus has a hard time trusting God with his family.

CRM REVIEW:

Things couldn’t be going any worse for Marcus O’Malley. A judge is murdered under his watch, the only witness is under his protection, and he finds out his sister has terminal cancer – all within twenty-four hours. He can’t take much more.

Shari Hanford wishes she hasn’t seen what she has. She wants justice, but at the price of possibly losing her brother and father she’s not sure.

Bullets wiz by. Shari is put deeper into security. An assassin is out there… and he’s patiently waiting for his next attempt. Can Marcus protect her? And will he decide to trust God as the ultimate guardian?

While the body guard and witness love story might be an old plot, Henderson writes it fresh. The heart breaking pain that affects the family, as well as the cancer patient, emotionally binds readers to the story.

WHAT YOU'LL FIND INSIDE:

Romance between a man and woman - Yes

Fondling - No

Felt this book properly represented a Biblical world view – Yes

I would recommend this book to a Christian audience – Yes

Felt this book properly represented a Biblical world view – Yes

Other things of special note: Blood goes hand in hand with a bullet. Although Henderson down plays those scenes, there’s no denying that it’s there. Five deaths total in the story.
