CRM REVIEW:
Rachel O’Malley is strong. She has to be; it’s what the family expects. It’s her job. And it’s the very thing she is wearing raw. A flood. A murder. Her sister dying. In the midst of it all there is Cole and her new found faith. Doesn’t she know he’s in love with her? Captain Cole Parker is right there to catch her when she falls- literally. As they face the challenge of their community a deep love binds their hearts. Jennifer O’Malley is dying. Her siblings have all come to know Jesus- all except Stephen. But will she live to see him believe? The Healer focuses more on the O’Malley family than the mystery. The best book I have EVER read. Of course, without the previous books in the series there wouldn’t be the strong tie to the story. I almost cried writing this review – not kidding. There are happy tears. There are lots, and lots of sad tears (keep the Kleenex box close). You are left in the dark. The Healer leaves readers depressed – part of the story’s impact.
WHAT YOU'LL FIND INSIDE:
Romance between a man and woman - Yes Fondling - No Sexual tension – No Felt arousal when reading certain scenes – No Felt this book properly represented a Biblical world view – Yes Other things of special note: SPOILER! There is a school shooting. Several students are injured, and a few are killed. Henderson details lightly giving you the picture, but not to the point of gruesome. Jennifer and Tom’s love story has been pieced together throughout the series. You can feel the characters’ pain. These secondary characters deliver a powerful blow to the plot. It is touching to the core.
