A Lady Like Sarah

548092: A Lady Like Sarah, Rocky Creek/ Women of Faith SeriesA Lady Like Sarah, Rocky Creek/ Women of Faith Series
By Margaret Brownley / Thomas Nelson

Sarah Prescott has never known a respectable life; just a hardscrabble childhood and brothers who taught her to shoot straight.

Justin Wells left Boston in disgrace, heading out alone on the dusty trail to Texas. But when the once-respected clergyman encounters a feisty redhead in handcuffs with a dying US Marshall at her side, their journey takes a dramatic turn.

His high society expectations and Sarah's outlaw habits clash from the start. With a price on her head and a sweet orphan in tow, Justin and Sarah make the difficult journey toward Rocky Creek. There justice will be meted out hopefully with a portion of grace.

CRM REVIEW:

The fun doesn’t seem to stop once you start! Sometimes books drag in the middle but not this one.

Reverend Justin Wells is short on western smarts and long on prayer – very long. He is patient with Sarah as she struggles to become a true lady. While the two fall in love Sarah and Justin are tempted, but they are careful to remove those temptations. Justin tells a half-truth saying that Sarah is the baby’s mother while Sarah is the godmother.

Sarah has no intention of letting her last name slip out of the bag. Her last name has already got her headed for the noose. Justin treats her like a lady and not a member of the Prescott gang. Can Sarah become a lady? And will her brothers give up their ways to save her?
