CRM REVIEW:
Appearing bored is Kate O’Malley’s job. As a hostage negotiator, she’s one of the best. Her family may not be blood related, but the group of orphans adopted each other into their own family. When Kate’s youngest sister shares a secret with her, Kate knows that the O’Malley family will never be the same again. Special FBI agent Dave Richman couldn’t have had a happier birthday; it’s every man’s dream to be held hostage in a bank. Kate has a rule about not dating cops that is about to be broken… One warning for a plane bomb – mentioning her name puts her within Dave’s protective shadow. Kate has seen to much evil to believe in a God who cares. She can’t believe because her sister wants her to or because of Dave. Before she handles her next hostage situation, she’ll have to get off the fence. Dee Henderson made herself a name to watch for from the very beginning. She has won the trust of millions of readers and doesn’t break that bond. The Negotiator does a good job of leading into the next book The Guardian.
WHAT YOU'LL FIND INSIDE:
Sex between characters – No Romance between a man and woman - Yes Sexual tension – No I would recommend this book to a Christian audience – Yes Other things of special note: While there is a bombing, Henderson doesn’t go into details besides making the scenes bitter. Kate was abused as a child, but besides someone telling Dave that he doesn’t want to read the court records nothing is said. Smuggling drugs is briefly mentioned.
