Nick Noble had not planned on being the prodigal son. But when his father dies and leaves half of Silver Buckle, the Noble family ranch,to Nick's former best friend, he must return home to face his mistakes, and guarantee that the Silver Buckle stays in the Noble family. Award-winning journalist Piper Sullivan believes Nick framed her brother for murder, and she is determined to find justice. But following Nick to the Silver Buckle and posing as a ranch cook proves more challenging than she thinks;so does resisting his charming smile. As Nick seeks to overturn his fathers will, and Piper digs for answers, family secrets surface that send Nick's life into a tailspin. But there is someone who is out to take the Silver Buckle from the Noble family, and he will stop at nothing, even murder,to make it happen.

CRM RATING:T
Explain:

SPIRITUAL RATING: 5
Explain: Warren illustrates the prodigal son story in such a way you have never seen it come more alive. This book holds a treasure of healing and forgiveness.

CRM REVIEW:

Nick Noble hasn’t got a clue how many people he left scarred from his words ten years ago. As far as he’s concerned, he’s the only one who left with wounds.

When Nick’s father dies, he leaves half of the ranch to Cole. Cole stole his girl friend, his land, and now his horse. The will hasn’t split Silver Buckle ranch yet. If Nick has anything to say about it, Cole won’t get an acre.

Her investigative skills have won her awards. Piper is on a mission….Nick framed her brother for murder. She needs to get him to admit it and leave the Buckle before the Nobles find out she can’t cook. However, Piper isn’t the only one after Nick and the ranch.

Mystery doesn’t die, romance blossoms, and noble character is achieved. If you are looking for a nice gentle romance, don’t pick up this whirlwind adventure that will leave you begging for the next chapter of the story.
