Taming Rafe

By Susan May Warren

310183: Taming Rafe, Noble Legacy Series #2Taming Rafe, Noble Legacy Series #2
By Tyndale House

Hotel heiress Katherine Breckenridge just wants to make a lasting difference in her world by running her late mother's charity foundation. But she fears she lacks the passion and courage to be as successful as her mother was--a fear that's realized when money from the foundation goes missing and Katherine's one shot to recover it is ruined by Rafe Noble. Two-time world champion bull rider Rafe Noble is at the top of his game when tragedy hits. Guilt stricken over the loss of his best friend, Rafe accidentally drives his truck into the lobby of the Breckenridge Hotel during Katherine's fund-raiser. With a broken knee, a ruined reputation, and the threat of several lawsuits, Rafe goes back to his family's ranch--the Silver Buckle--to recover. Desperate to save the foundation, Katherine heads to the Silver Buckle to talk Rafe into helping her raise the needed funds. But a few days under the bright Montana skies give her more than she bargained for, and Kat discovers there's more to both herself and Rafe Noble than she realized.

CRM RATING:T
Explain:

SPIRITUAL RATING: 5
Explain: Katherine learns that she can make a difference by being herself. Depending on God becomes oh so clear to Rafe when he finds himself on the back of a bull.

CRM REVIEW:

Please set aside a day for yourself to experience this book because once you start you’ll hate stopping!

Rafe has two gold buckles, adoring fans, a death on his conscience, and now a lawsuit on his hands. Before he can throw himself a proper pity party, trouble follows him back to his ranch.

Katherine, Kat, or Kitty- as Rafe calls her – is on a mission. Save the world; somebody didn’t fill her in that Jesus already had that covered. Headaches claim her in New York, but the Big Sky has cleared her mind of many things. But Kitty lets herself fall in love with the bull rider; one minute she’s kissing him and the next she’s afraid he’ll trample her heart.

Things are about to get more complicated than riding a bull… Katherine isn’t feeling quite herself, Rafe is determined to become the hero he should have been at the beginning, and their worlds are about to become one faster than you can count to eight.
