The Truth Seeker

By Dee Henderson

310587: The Truth Seeker, O"Malley Series #3The Truth Seeker, O'Malley Series #3
By Dee Henderson / Tyndale House

Women are turning up dead, and Lisa O'Malley has a habit of walking into crime scenes, curious. She's a forensic pathologist, and mysteries are her domain. U.S. marshall Quinn Diamond has found loving her is easier than keeping her safe. Lisa's found the killer, and now shes missing too.

CRM RATING: T
Explain: N/A

SPIRITUAL RATING: 3-4
Explain: Lisa doesn’t believe in the resurrection.

CRM REVIEW:

Lisa O’Malley sent Quinn Diamond a petrified squid as a reply to his last proposal for dinner. He has dated two of her sisters; Lisa doesn’t want to be third. Quinn may be her brother’s partner, but that doesn’t mean she has to be civil to him. Does it?

An accident lands Lisa on death’s doorstep. Her brother and sisters are pushing her towards Jesus, but Quinn is relaxed. He’s comfortable with his religion. His Montana drawl, deep roots – not to mention his protective streak – are changing her opinion of him and Jesus.

Over a period of years women have disappeared. They’ve turned up as skeletons years later. As Quinn and Lisa work through a web of cases, some will be intertwined together. The killer will be closer than anyone expects…This time he’s after Lisa.

Another winner by Dee Henderson! The Truth Seeker has a strong mystery and characters. The O’Malley series spiritually is addressing several objections to becoming a Christian as each O’Malley has one problem or another with the scriptures.

WHAT YOU'LL FIND INSIDE:

Romance between a man and woman - Yes

Fondling - No

Felt this book properly represented a Biblical world view – Yes

I would recommend this book to a Christian audience – Yes

Other things of special note: Some graves are exhumed. Blood is mentioned, but Henderson doesn’t go into details. Quinn and Lisa track down a serial killer. The job of forensic pathologist is brought into the light – it’s not always pretty to work with the dead.
