When the Nile Runs Red by DiAnn Mills
Paul Farid was once a persecutor of the Sudanese people. He was also a devout Muslim. Now Paul fights for the people he once persecuted and a God he once denied. Along with his wife, Dr. Larson Farid, Paul faces constant danger from a family who wants him back in the faith and a country that is determined to tear itself a part. When Larson finds out she is pregnant, she struggles with the decision to stay among the people she wants to help or go back to the states where she can raise their child in safety.
Larson and Paul know where their hearts lie and they know their purpose in God.
This was a really enjoyable read. It made me realize how much our brothers and sisters in the Sudanese, need our prayers and support. Indeed all our persecuted brothers and sisters around the globe.
Well done, DiAnn...again!
Rating Recommended for this book: Pg-13 or Teen but I give it 4 stars for the Adventure DiAnn promises!
